Fuji X-pro1 winter pictures

On Christmas day I was out testing my Fujifilm X-pro 1 in a cold condition again. I was out for about 2 hours, and it was - 13 degrees celcius. The camera worked flawlessly. I love using this camera. All of these shots are done with Fujifilm X-pro1 with either the 18mm or 35mm lens (27mm and 53mm full frame). They are JPG shots using the Black&white yellow filter output option. The shots are from the Trysil area in south eastern Norway.

Fuji X-pro 1 autumn pictures

Since I've already posted some pictures taken with my X-pro 1 from my summer holiday and some winter pictures as well - why not some autumn pictures? All three were taken with the XF 18mm F/2.0, the first two at f/11 and the last one at f/8. The files were processed in Lightroom 4.2.

A few more Fujifilm X-pro 1 pictures...

This summer I brought my Fujifilm X-pro 1 on my holiday along the southern and western coast of Norway. I was curious to see if I could make it with just two prime lenses - the XF 18mm f/2.0 and the XF 35mm f/1.4. Being so used to my Canon dSLR and zooms, it was more tricky than I expected it to be. But, after a while I found it to be more fun to shot with the Fuji and primes. These are some of shots. I shot in RAW, and processed the files in Lightroom. Some of the pictures are cropped a bit, but then again - being my first experience with primes lenses... I need more practise!

No collection of pictures from the coast is complete without a light house picture!

What a perfect place for kiting! The North Atlantic Ocean right there!

So I guess that's what they eat around here...

Fujifilm X-Pro1 - on a cold day!

On a beautiful sunny winters day, with temperatures down to -14 degrees celcius, I took my Fujifilm X-Pro 1 with the XF35 F/1.4 lens out for a test.

I was interested to see how it would perform in the cold, and how it would handle shooting not so static objects - like RC planes and people. I'm quite happy with the results. The autofocus handled itself well, and I did not experience any shutter lag. The only thing slowing down were my fingers from the cold :) These are some of the results. All photos were shot with the Fujifilm X-pro 1 and the 35mm lens in RAW mode, and processed in Lightroom 4.2.
